The winning team or blogger is the team of blogger that raises the most funds in the campaign as determined by the tracking technology implemented and the donations received through the campaign. The decision made by Breadline Africa is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winning recipes will be determined by the votes as tracked by the voting tracking technology. The blogger or team who raises the most funds will name a community kitchen that will be donated to a needy community from the funds raised in the campaign. The top rated recipes as determined by votes will win Amazon gift vouchers.
Use of funds raised
This campaign by Breadline Africa does not create any form of restricted purpose fund or trust. As with all of the funds which generous sponsors send, the trustees will apply the money raised from this campaign where they, in their absolute discretion, think it will do most good.
Credit Card Security
Breadline Africa is grateful for the donations that help us continue our work. It is very important to us that your personal information remains secure. When you donate to Breadline Africa online, your credit card information is secured by a reputable security company (Thawte). Also, your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored. You will see the "closed" lock symbol in the lower part of your browser screen (often times it is yellow as well) when you are on our secure donation pages. You will also notice in your web site address bar that the domain name starts with an "https" on those donation pages. This means that information entered on those pages is encrypted for your security. This actually makes it more secure than using a credit card in physical form at a store for example. If you have any questions regarding the security of your credit card donation online, please email ed-online[at]breadlineafrica.org.za.
